What does your breakfast look like? Are you a fan of muesli? Or are you more a fruit-in-the-morning person? Or maybe you skip breakfast at all? I must have breakfast in the morning and I tend to prepare it with some kind of attention (and slow-motion) as it is how I start my day off (and it MUST be awesome!). The healthy homemade granola is a great option for a substiantial breakfast, let’s find out together how it is made.

The healthy homemade granola is really easy to make. I usually make more so I can keep it in a glass jar for quite some time. This means I have breakfast ready anytime, all I need is some milk or yogurt. The granola is full of flavors: from fruityish to the one of cinnamon. It is so tasty that sometimes I even take a spoon on a go 🙂

This healthy homemade granola is loved by kids! Not only for the colors, but also for its crunchy texture, and especially for its amazing smell. Would you go for a grocery store granola or would you rather make this great homemade granola? I am sure it is the latter! If I opened my granola jar now, you would be amazed by the smell, and would ask me to pass you a spoon to give it a try. That’s absolutely fine, but shall we try to make it from scratch?

The ingredients to make the healthy homemade granola are listed in this recipe. The list may seem long, but this is how you can make the most flavorful granola ever. But no worries, if you do not have all of the ingredients or have some of them, you may still give it a try. For example, if you do not have walnuts but have hazelnuts, why not! Give it a try anyway, who knows maybe you will find out another great combination to get the same amazing flavor! If so, let me know your version on the comments below and I will be glad to try it too!

I do have breakfast every day. Except those times when I have to leave home early in the morning. I then feel my stomach is still closed and I just can’t get food or drinks in. All I would go for is a glass of warm water. BUT if it is not one of those days, then oh Lord help me! 😀 I would take a nice small bowl, put in some low fat yogurt or milk in and a couple of nice spoons of the healthy homemade granola. This is one of my favorite ways to start the morning. What is yours?

Enjoy!
