I had asked my Instragram followers what is the food that they know most people hate yet they like it. There was a number of different answers from bananas (funny one :D), durian, marmite, and…. SPINACH! I love spinach too, so I thought I will share some recipe where spinach would be the main ingredient. And I came up with this super delicious strawberry spinach salad. Bear with me!
I love this strawberry spinach salad for its simplicity! It is really easy to make, and so fresh. I agree this is not the best food to be eaten in winter, however, it may be easily used as a side dish. Another great thing about this strawberry spinach salad is that you can use this as a base and add a lot more ingredients. I love this salad with some feta cheese, some roasted almonds, or even pomegranate seeds. What is your favorite mix of ingredients? Comment below and let me know!
When I think of spinach, I usually think of a quiche. This is where people usually use spinach, right? I think this strawberry spinach salad is an alternative to those traditional recipes that we all know. Also, I love using spinach when making smoothies. I will soon share the recipe with you, I am sure you will love it too.
Did you know that spinach is extremely rich in vitamin K? This vitamin helps maintaining bone health, and there is actually no other vegetable this rich in it! Moreover, spinach as well as kale or other greens can be grown throughout the year. Oh I wish I had a garden, I am sure the spinach would be one of my favorite greens!
Did I manage to change your opinion and so you now like spinach? 🙂
